About me

Sarah Mian, psychotherapist and counsellorI am a psychotherapist in training currently in my final year of an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy.

My background is in television producing.  I had a career making documentaries on sensitive issues.

I moved from documentary making to counselling and psychotherapy because I increasingly came in to contact with people who were in distressing and emotionally challenging situations including relationship issues, depression and abuse.  I wanted to be able to do more to support people in these situations and ultimately help them find solutions to their problems.

Becoming a psychotherapist and counsellor has helped me to do this.

  • separation and divorce
  • anger management
  • family issues

  • bereavement
  • emotional abuse
  • career counselling
  • sexual abuse
  • low self-esteem
  • suicidal thoughts
